Environmental Recall Consistency in Chronic Sleep Disorder Patients: Preliminary Observations
Abstract
A longitudinal study of subjective sleep recall in patients with chronic sleep disorders observed elevated environmental recall consistency across unrelated participants over extended study periods. Forty-seven enrolled patients completed standardized recall inventories following monitored overnight sessions. Analysis of recall data collected over a minimum twelve-month period indicated progressive stabilization of reported environmental features. Cross-participant comparison, conducted blind, identified overlap in spatial descriptors at rates exceeding baseline chance levels. Results suggest that environmental recall consistency may function as a measurable and longitudinally stable clinical indicator in this population. Further investigation is indicated.
